Jason is an Artist/Illustrator working across a wide field of mediums- painting, sculpture, puppetry and film.
Currently he is designing and making sculptures for Vallåssens Värdshus sculpture park in Sweden and a short film Quercus for Honeyfly Films.
He is also an award nominated Theatre & Performance Designer working internationally across theatre and opera.
He trained at Central St Martins London and received an Arts Council Design Bursary in 2000.
His work has also been chosen to be exhibited at the V&A museum in London and Nottingham for the Society of British Theatre designers Exhibition, MAKE/BELIEVE.
He has worked for a number of prestigious companies in the UK including Theatre Royal Haymarket (West End), The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Ballet, Welsh National Opera, Young Vic, Gate London and Citizens Theatre Glasgow. Other UK companies include Buxton Festival Opera, Mid Wales Opera, Nottingham Playhouse, Belgrade Coventry and Arcola Theatre. He has also worked internationally for Bregenz Opera Festival, Savonlinna Opera Festival, Komische Oper, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Landestheater Salzburg, Frankfurt Opera, Opera Zuid Maastrict, OMMA Athens, Wexford Festival Opera, Mariinsky St Petersburg and Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre.
He also illustrates for CD`s, Books and various projects and has also led design workshops in Pakistan for the British Arts Council and in the UK.
